    It’s like he was running his own little barefoot evolutionary experiment, thinking he could manually toughen up his gene pool one step at a time! You’ve got to admire the dedication, even if the science was a bit... off-track. Who knows? Maybe his son was born with an inexplicable love for being barefoot, if not the tough feet he hoped for.
